Banned BOoks Week Resources and Projects
Step 1:
Choose your banned book and research why it has been banned or challenged. Be sure to choose a book that you have either read or a book that is in our PJH Media Center.

Step 2:
Find an image of your book cover. You may take a picture of the book if it is in our Media Center. Be sure that the cover is not shiny! If the book in our Media Center does not have the same cover as the image you found online- it is okay- but you will not be able to scan the book in our library for the image to appear. Instead, you will only be able to scan the 'wanted poster'. Save this image onto your computer. This image will be your TRIGGER IMAGE in Aurasma.
Step 3:
Choose which type of Aura you would like to create.
Step 4:
Create a script. Be informative but brief. Have your script approved by your teacher or Mrs. Heikes.
Step 5:
Create your Overlay using the tools in Step 3.

- Wordfoto- word collage cover ($1.99 itunes)
- camera- News broadcast
- Other: approval from Mrs. Heikes required
